If you are interested in environmental issues that threaten Hawaiʻi’s natural resources, there are many ways and places for you to get involved. Along with actively working to make a positive difference in Hawaiʻi, many other great benefits can be obtained through environmental stewardship. The areas you lend your skills to have great resources, and the other participants are usually great resources themselves: volunteer coordinators, scientists, cultural specialists, fellow volunteers, and many others holding a wealth of knowledge. On top of returning aloha to the ʻāina and community, getting involved is a great way to expand your network.
