Background: Chris joined Pono Pacific in 2023 with over 20 years of cross-functional legal and business experience in Hawaiʻi and California. Chris will lead and oversee Pono’s sustainable energy projects, including a partnership with Par Hawaii to identify and develop local sources of plant-based oil to produce renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in Hawaiʻi. Chris has served on various nonprofit, industry and government boards and was a 2009 member of the Pacific Century Fellows Program. During his down time, Chris enjoys golfing, hiking, bodysurfing and spending time with his wife and three children.
