Here are some desciptions of a variety of different projects for a few of our Landowner clientele.

LECI - Kaelepulu Wetland:
Removed invasive plants from the wetland to create larger foraging and nesting habitat for native wetland birds such as Ae’o (Himantopus mexicanus knudseni), Alae ke’oke’o (Fulica Americana alai) and Alae ula (Gallinula chloropus sandvicensis).

Distributed indigenous plants such as Bacopa monnieri to sparsely vegetated areas to increase foraging areas for wetland birds.

J.W. Marriot - Ko’olina Golf Course:
A native plant garden was developed on the golf course.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service / Kamehameha Schools - Ukoa Marsh Exclosure:
This project included vegetation removal of invasive plants along the fence line including: Kiawe
(Prosopis juliflora), Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera), and Pluchea indica.

Pono Pacific took down 1500 feet of existing fence and built a 1,500 foot predator fence.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - Puna Trail and Fencing Project on Private Land:
Cut a trail for fence line with hazel hoes and pulaskis to prepare for a forty acre exclosure.
